i’m so tired of feeling too soft to touch
to touch, to touch
i think about that time we fought too much
you’re my only ally
you’re a sight for sore eyes
soft to your touch
hard with my love
soft to your touch
hard with my love, love, oh
too soft to touch
but i’m still holding onto my grudge
too soft to touch
too soft to touch
you could cut me and i’d drip
drip drip drip
drip blood for you
baby i’m so tired of feeling like an open wound
i would bleed out without you, scorpio moon
you’re a sight for sore eyes
when you’re between my thighs

One of my favorite albums of all time. Turnover really hit a sound here that resonates with me deeply, and I often find myself coming back to this record and falling in love with it all over again. The drums and bass are greatly underrated on this album, creating their own unique melodies that fit within the song and create something new rather than just follow the guitars. Nothing beats the somehow joyful and somber sound of this record. Rob Carpenter
