dancing in the dark
yeah we lost our spark
the red roses you gave me
yeah i threw them away
threw them away
i threw them away
the disco or the park
i'm falling out of love
no matter where we are
i'm never there at all
yeah i wish we could be
but i have no identity
but i wish it was you
i do i do
can’t do it anymore
with you
with you
with you
with you
red blood, deeper floods
i know this is what you want
call it off
call it off
call it off
call it off
broken hearts
broken parts
i don’t wanna tear you apart
we’re moving too slow
let me go now
dancing while we die
what a waste of time
the love i once felt for you
it faded away
faded away
you faded away
the disco or the park
i'm falling out of love
no matter where we are
i'm never there at all

One of my favorite albums of all time. Turnover really hit a sound here that resonates with me deeply, and I often find myself coming back to this record and falling in love with it all over again. The drums and bass are greatly underrated on this album, creating their own unique melodies that fit within the song and create something new rather than just follow the guitars. Nothing beats the somehow joyful and somber sound of this record. Rob Carpenter
